Oral Spanish in everyday situations I (45 h)
During the course, students will learn in a practical way the daily, social, economic and cultural reality of Barcelona. The course provides an orientation that allows students to learn about life in Barcelona. In each class, students will learn the communicative functions and archetypal indicators of the language according to each topic. Classes use text and audio-visual materials to improve oral skills.
Minimum level of Spanish language required: From Beginner
ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
Attendance and participation in class: 20%
First mid-semester examination: 40%
Second mid-semester examination: 40%
SYLLABUS
• Go shopping / Go shopping

o Making purchases in a shop, market, fair, etc.

o Say how and what you want.
o Ask for and give information about the prices of food or other products.
• Spanish and Latin-American cuisine. Eating tapas

o Say the names of objects and foods in a restaurant, bar or cafeteria.
• Popular festivals and holidays
